Last year we had a few events that involved succulents. What to do with all the leftovers? So happens I had a collection of Guy Wolf Pottery also left over from a past event. I put two and two together and grabbed a few bags of soil and distributed it among the pottery. I simply layed the succulents on top of the soil, a few for each pot not really expecting anything spectacular. Within several weeks I was doing my weekly watering and happen to notice the succulents were giving birth to small chicks. I was amazed how fast the succulents laid roots. And within 4 months I had 30 or so amazing pots of lush succulents. Sold every one. So this year I am doing it again, not with Guy Wolf Pottery, instaed I am using some long woodened boxes that are made with tree bark. Sorry, all these are presold for a wedding in October. But I am thinking of creating some wonderful small collections that will be available later this fall.
