The trend for submerging flowers is hot, has been for several years now, but behind the scene lugging all those heavy wet vases around is back breaking and laborious not to mention sort of dangerous. For this wedding I opted to create a modern design by suspending flowers. The Calas' simply held on their own whilst the Orchids were suspending in the vase by tying them with nylon line tied to a grid of reed. Lightweight and easy to transport.
